Help any info re: Salingac

Hi,
I'm hoping to tap your collectivce knowledge about an artist known only to
me as Salingac. I saw a modern (50's?), colorful, abstract print of what
looks like an industrial oil, chemical or gas complex reflected on a body
of water. On the back, it says "Schiffe" -- then -- Verlag Hans
Hoeppner, West (sic) Germany [apparently the gallery]. Do you have any
information about this artist or print, or could you refer me to a good
source for looking this up?

Salingac was active in Germany around 1964 since my parents bought a painting by him in Cologne of that year. It's an interesting abstract.
